Food Flight

Genre: Multiplayer, Party, Casual

Role(s): Game Designer, Level Designer

Software Used: Unity, Visual Studio

Project Type: Team Prototype

Food Flight was the first prototype that we developed under a new team, under the three idea prompts of “jumbo”, “skydive”, and “cheeseburger”. During the development of this prototype, I was mainly responsible for the creation and decoration of the player map, as well as creating all of the obstacles that the player could slam into. One of the largest points of contention was trying to give visual landmarks and details for the player to have a frame of reference within the scene, as well as providing them with a good sense of depth perception.

This development cycle was very short, and some of the things we centered the game around such as the gyro controls ended up giving us a lot of trouble. However, I am incredibly pleased with my work on this prototype, as it gave me a real challenge in deciding how to plan a level from an unconventional play format (such as skydiving).

Currently, it is unavailable to download (yet).
